Just Wonderful

I have had my first proper haircut in years compliments of our neighbour, who is a hairdresser. We’d booked her in to do the girls this afternoon, but was happy to do the rest of us as well. Z is relieved ’cause his hair was getting tangly-long, and well. I am wary about letting other people cut my hair because I’m worried they’ll take off a lot more than I want them to, but she was fab. Even though it was like, maybe an inch that she took off, my hair feels lighter and happier for it.

This day on the whole has been going at a breakneck pace. I popped myself in the bath for a proper soak as soon as the kiddos were out the door. Then I packed up Etsy orders and took them to the postbox. And then somehow it was already almost noon? Like, how did that even happen. But mainly I’ve been working hard all day doing crafty things, so time has flown and in the finest fashion. But also, in the fashion that requires me to restock some things that I can’t get the exact same of (natch ¬¬), so my hands get a tiny break from drilling to try and find the things.

Right, gonna go find more caffeine, and try to figure out which way my head is going.
