Fiddly Strikes

I had a generous Etsy order come in overnight, and apparently my brain has decided that I need to redo everything that is in the order. Sigh. *chuckles ruefully* It’s not that the ones I was replacing were broken or unable to function, just… bothered more than usual by surface blemishes that are hard to avoid when working on such a tiny scale. The current jump rings I’m working with are 5mm in diameter, so very. Very. Tiny and fussy. But I am happy that my work means that tiny knitters don’t have their work swallowed in bigger markers.

That’s been the bulk of my non-gaming day, which really, is fine. It’s soothing, after a fashion. Or keeps me busy and distracted, which is also high on the good things list these days. After all, we are entering our fifth week of isolation tomorrow, which. So weird. I still think it will be a few more months past now, and I’m more or less okay with it, but that doesn’t change the whole world upended thing.

Right, back to fussing with tiny things.
