Black Screen of Infinite Waiting

I decided that today was going to be the day I sucked it up and got the latest Windows feature update downloaded onto all of my computers. It went super-fast on Baby because hey, her OS drive is an SSD. My desktop is currently in black screen purgatory, so I’m keeping my main laptop waiting until that sorts itself out. Am I annoyed? Slightly. It’s far from the end of the world though. I’m still able to play the game that I want to on this or that machine, so yeah. 🙂

Z came home early from work, and took the girls to a park to play. They lucked out and didn’t get rained on, and bonus — Smalls ran into one of her classmates while they were out. Apparently, classmate was well impressed with both her and Smaller’s nail polish jobs. Hee? Yesssh.

((And ha! The power of ‘Complaining to the Internet’ means that my desktop monitor actually has a ‘working on it’ screen instead of black. FINALLY.))

So yeah, that’s about it really. Work happened, the ambient temperature has been more than tolerable… can’t complain.
