Being, of course, the correct way to eat a scone during a cream tea. For what it’s worth, I had one each way and couldn’t make my mind up as to which was better, so I guess I’m just going to have to eat more scones until I have a more definitive opinion. I suspect that it’s going to be sammiching them back together… we’ll see what I’ll feel like shoving into my face tomorrow.
Today, I actually decided to work. Littlerbit was happily curled up on the couch doing her own thing, so it freed me up to channel my feeling puny into something productive. So that was good, I guess. Maybe I’ll take Friday off instead, or maybe I’ll just keep working through the week. It’s nice to be able to flex my hours about to suit me.
And, of course, I finished the first sock. And I tried it on. And man, it is definitely the comfiest of the socks that I’ve made so far. I don’t know whether or not that is thanks to doing it on a singular tiny circular needle or not, but man, not complaining. And now I have the numbers I need to do the second sock, so that means I can zone out and just do it. I hope to get a few rows done on it tonight so that it’s in an easier place to pick up from when I’m out tomorrow for knitting.
And speaking of that knitting, I’m going to get back to that.
