I’m Batman

So, one of my favourite local facts is that the OG Batman movie, ie, 1989, Keaton? Was filmed pretty much completely in the UK — and bits of it here, proper local. That goes for some Star Wars films and other shiny things as well, but — this was the exterior used for the plant where the Joker fell into that fateful vat o’ acid. I can’t remember the last time I saw the movie, but I know the first time I saw the power station, I knew it immediately. 😀

And why oh why did I get to revisit? Because the nearest Tesco that had flu vaccines was right around the corner from it. So that’s done, and my right arm is definitely grumbly now for all the stuff stuck into it this week, ha ha. I’m trying to centre one of those stick-on heat pads over it, but it’s really awkward when I’m not supposed to stick it right to my skin.

What else… started jostling stuff around to make room for my new storage tower. It quickly became obvious that I need a different storage setup under my back desk, so I did some measuring and we ordered some boxes. So that’ll be in whenever it is, and I can finish reorganising. For the moment at least, it’s a step in the right direction. All the steps are mainly in the right direction of the moment, and that’s yanno, a Good Thing™®.

Right, gonna go zone out, maybe stab cloth a bit.
