All Good

Well, it’s a bit chipped and smudged, but that’s okay! The point is that I painted my nails a different colour two days in a row, which means that I’ve found a satisfactory workaround to the current lockdown situation. If you don’t know, my husband has some really weird allergy that has morphed beyond recognition, but let’s just say I can’t paint my nails around him, or wear perfume, or use lotions in certain smell categories. And no, it’s not that he hates rose-smells — all of it causes his throat to close up. The peel-off basecoat doesn’t set him off, so I can do that downstairs, which makes it more likely that I’ll drag my butt upstairs and put on colour. Plus, the whole peel-off thing is bliss. It means I don’t have to deal with the grossness of remover (which I loathe the smell and feel of).

And, bonus, this shows that it’s not effing up thermals! This is one I bought last year and haven’t used since, and it’s responding beautifully. So that’s pleasing too.

Past that, nothing much to report. Had an Etsy order go out, so been fussing at making a restock. I was gonna try to do some product photography as well for something that I had to remake slightly differently than previously photographed, but I went past the point of being able to consider it and into sleepy. So gonna go bask in that. Laters!
