Dinner For…

We’re currently hanging out around Mum’s house. She had us over for dinner, which is always lovely. It’s the first time since… eesh, Christmas 2019? Last year’s normal come over to eat dates were a bust due to trying to follow Coronavirus distancing, and Christmas last year Z cooked and ferried plates over. She’d picked up some lamb from the butcher in the village, and it was delightful. We’ve got a bit left on the bone to take home with us, so we’ll have to figure out what we’re doing. I suggested stewing it, but we’ll figure that out later. 🙂

Past that, I guess I can report on some nail science. I’d picked up a bottle of peel-off basecoat… I think I said something about that. So I did that and some polish earlier in the week, to moderate success. I realised after I peeled it off last night that I need to work harder to smooth out the rough bits at the top of my nails, which seems to have made for better results when I painted them earlier today. Probably not a surprise to anyone, but it’s hard for me to manage meagre growth and nail quality, since my actual nail quality is kind of crap. But then, one can’t really expect pristine growth when they use their hands as much as I do to do all the things all day long.
