Snark Hunting

So, it appears that I finally have my first lost Etsy order. I asked the nice lady if she wanted a replacement or refund, and she’s gone for the former. Sure! Ace! Will get that out the door today! So, of course… my cordage for that particular bracelet is missing. I immediately ordered more, which is supposed to get here Thursday, but I feel slightly bad. Like, what if she thinks I’m intentionally stalling to buy time? I’m not by any stretch, and the fact that this section of my desk got pulled out and sorted through a couple of times shows that I *am* trying to find it. Still. My brain just keeps doing phantom Tetris pieces with the spool, trying to figure out where the shape went amongst my detritus. I’m keeping her in the loop, and well. We’ll see how it goes. I’ve already told her that if the missing one shows up after I send the replacement that she is welcome to keep it, or gift it on as she sees fit. Pay kindness forward, yanno?

There’s not been much else otherwise today. It was a smidge warmer than we expected, but not so bad as to need the air conditioning. A few more days, and perhaps we will feel confident enough that summer is gone to put it away and give me back precious desk space. It would certainly be useful with the reorganisation that I plan on attacking my craft supplies and books with.
