Shoppinggggg

It’s funny, but by happenstance I’ve been doing more shopping while this quarantine party has been going on. In most cases, it’s been important wardrobe replenishment that just happened to fall at this time. It’s very satisfying to get that sort of stuff sorted, yanno? My wardrobe desires are basic — clothing that covers my bod and is comfortable. Tick, tick, etc.

Today’s shopping is a bit more luxe though, hee hee. Z and I are firmly reaching the end of life that we can happily eke out of our current mobiles, so I’ve been off and on doing a bit of window shopping. I *think* I’ve found our winner, and one that’s even 5G compatible whenever it makes it to our little backwater. I told Z of the ones I was looking at, so he can do his own research off of that.

I’m also wool shopping. One of the sites is having a sock wool sale this week, and um… hiiii, I buy wool as souvenirs when we’re on holiday, so. I need to sit down with Z and get him to sign off on my basket… mwuhahah, come to me, my pretties. It also includes wool to do stuff for the kids. I’d bought a ball to do something with Smalls last year, but her feet have caught up with mine, so ordering a second so I can make her a proper pair of socks. I also found one that was pinky and yellowy that will make Smaller happy, I think. So of course, it dumped my basket… time to reconstruct. ¬¬

What else… oh! We had weather! Like, a proper thunderstorm this morning, and it was divine. Z couldn’t remember the last time there was one like that, and I don’t think there has been one to match it since I moved here. We’re supposed to be getting more of it over the next couple of days, and I am excite. Smalls is excite. Smaller… I’ve not convinced her that storms are awesome and part of her native heritage. She complained she was scared, and then promptly ignored it, so. Maybe there’s a chance, ha ha.
