Season’s Greetings

Yeah so, it’s raining. There’s a lot of raining. The forecasts don’t put it anywhere near cold enough to snow this far south — but there’s gonna be even more rain. Yay. ¬¬

At least it wasn’t so bad when I was doing my Post Office run. Last night, on the other hand? Torrential to the point of ‘wahey, where’s the road?!’ Ah well. At least our house isn’t in a flood zone. The in-laws back garden is (but not the house itself), but that would take some really, massively impressive flooding.

Mainly though, it’s Friday! The year is more or less over! Z is in at work on Monday, but the girls are done, and I am too, more or less. I might make a point to log in Monday and try to get some bits done, but I’m not going to beat myself up either if I don’t. It’ll depend on how I’m feeling at the time.

Speaking of feelings, I have one strong good feel — the beads are sorted and done. Or, at least, the 11/0 sized ones are, hee hee. I’m going to do my bag of 8/0 as well, but that is going to be less of a production. It’ll still eat up time and attention that could be spent less well fretting at world news, so yanno, bonus.

For the sec, gonna finish sewing up my lastest project, yet another cat hat for myself. I keep losing my hats, probably to somewhere ‘safe’ like the coat cupboard. Plus, this wool is a lavendery-purple gradient, and I really like how it looks, so.
