Shim

Half-term means that the girls wanted their nails painted. Smaller wanted hers to match mine, so I ended up slapping a coat over the existing chipped polish on my nails to appease her. I mean, I could have stripped it down and done it proper, but that would require me having a large bucket of damns than I do at current. *chuckles* The polish in question does a pretty good job masking my naff manicure, in addition to just being shimmery and awesome in general.

Really though, they were good as gold today. I didn’t get much work done, but that wasn’t their fault. It’s just, yanno… some days are more productive than others, and that’s okay.

Tomorrow, R, C, and the young master are coming to visit, so that’ll be nice. We’ve been meaning to get a fifth event in our visiting schedule so that things alternate better around the year, so hopefully this ‘event’ will stick and make that happen. Whatever the case, it’s always great to see them.
