Keeping Busy

Today has been primarily about chilling out and knitting. I’ve got the body of a monkey toy made and stuffed, and have made a bit more progress on my scrap blanket. Well, and I’ve been playing Pokémon again too, since Z has. Of course, my version of ‘play’ seems to be ‘in the same battle for many hours trying to flush out a 1% chance of spawning Pokémon’, because heeeey, gotta catch ’em all. *chuckles*

I have to say that I am pleased with my scrap blanket so far. Mind you, I have mainly variegated wool making up the bulk of its size so far, so that’s always going to bring something nice. I’m going to do a ball of leftover sky blue next, and that should potentially make a few rows. For the now, I’m impressed that I’ve already got two inches made up (considering it’s somewhere between 4 and 5 feet wide), and I look forward to making further progress. I guess I really needed a braindead project to hand, hee hee.

My new toy comes sometime tomorrow. I’m both excited, and like… wow. *laughs* I don’t even know what I am going to do with myself, outside of making a bit more of an effort to get stuff moved off of the part of the desk that will be its home. I don’t know what level of use it will get on the whole, but I expect that it will get used more and need the space more than its predecessor.

Anyways, back to doing the assorted things.
