Yus, all of Santa’s assorted parts have now been knit, which means I’m starting the sewing up process. I guess that means there is a real chance that I’ll complete it tonight, which is nice. Having said that, there’s also fiddly touches to embroider on, and that’s not my strong point. Still, if I don’t try, I won’t get better, and it won’t get done.
((and let me tell you, I’m glad every day that I managed to overcome my perfectionism to be able to yanno, enjoy making mistakes and learning from them))
I think that Z and I are done with our Christmas prep. We had a few presents still to wrap, so that’s been done. He also took down all the things that were hanging off of the bookshelf and finally replaced them with the Christmas cards. So we’ve sort of sleepwalked into Christmas, but there you go. It’s more or less done.
Beyond that, I’ve been on a Project Hospital kick. I couldn’t tell you what it is about the assorted hospital sims that are keeping my attention lately, but they are. So. This one is very different to Two Point Hospital, and it’s been a lot of fun getting my head around it. I think I’m at a point where I can probably build a hospital without having any problems, so there’s a limited run on this jag now. But I’ll deal with that when it happens. 🙂
