As I was brushing my teeth this morning, I was half-assedly reading the tube. So imagine my vast amusement to find this non-kerning typo, ha ha. We had the same again in the ‘kids’ range, which lacks the error. I should probably contact the manufacturer in question to see if they are aware of the typo, but another part of me is kind of curious to see how long it’s going to be there before they notice.
Last night was a lot of fun! I don’t think that J had had a chance to come over and play with Z’s VR helmet, so they had fun doing that while E and I mainly failed at doing anything but being in our own bubbles next to each other. Don’t get me wrong — this is a perfect state of friendship in my book! For example, R is one of my best friends. Yet it’s almost a running joke that when we’re hanging out, we don’t talk. We don’t even message really — we just sort of co-exist in the neighbouring space. Maybe it would be hell for extroverts, but I can’t really think of anyone in my innermost circles who would fall into that remit.
As for today… it was a day. I’m a month behind because of how the week of vacation fell, and I guess I made a semi-decent start on it? I was a bit frustrated because I asked Smalls to help me with a few things, and she wasn’t having it. I had to express my disappointment, which… she took it as well as one can take that? I wasn’t angry, I wasn’t sad, I was just tired and resigned. As I said to her — I wouldn’t ask her to help me if I didn’t need it. Mountains of work aside, I’m still completely wiped out from holiday, so I don’t have a lot to give to even basic chores.
*stifles a yawn* Blargh. Gonna go knit now.
