False Starts

It has, technically, snowed half a dozen times today. It’s just that said time adds up to less than half an hour, and with very little in the way of appreciable sticking to things. The biggest accumulation we have on our property is where a plastic tray was left out in the back garden; that is mainly filled with snow pellets from the biggest fall. There’s supposed to be more of this over most of the week… we’ll see what actually happens.

Today has been all about Diablo, which is probably why I have a headache, and why it’s currently in stereo. I’ve taken some pain meds, so we’ll see if that helps. I completed the final chapter this morning in the seasonal journey, so today has been dedicated to working on the bonus level after. I’m not feeling super confident about knocking it out, but we’ll see how it goes. I’m running Nephalaem Rifts for the moment, and trying to decide whether or not I’m ready to crank it up another Torment level… probably not. But I feel slightly more confident about my abilities to do so this time around.

Right, I think the edge of that headache is going — woo.

Beyond that, knitting. I’ve done a few stitches, but not too much. I received the notification about an hour ago that the needle I ordered was dispatched, so hopefully I’ll have that tomorrow or the next day. The progress I am currently making is grudging, insomuch that I have to stop and think about it every time I need to move stitches along because of the magic looping. I guess that’s a similar reason as to why I don’t want to do it on the DPNs — I don’t feel good, and I don’t want to have to think too hard about any of it.

Dord!
