I Amuse Easily

I had an order to run to the Post Office this morning, when I spotted this error message on the Lotto display. I found it sort of weird ’cause stuff was still displaying, so don’t know what it meant, and didn’t really care to ask. If it’s meant for the staff, well… wrong side of things, y’all.

Z came home early today, so we could make a family trip into the town centre. He had a Waterstones voucher to use up, so the kiddos picked a few books. We topped it off with nice milkshakes at the big gelato place. They had coffee milkshakes! Which, well, it might not be ‘my’ milkshake from back in the Insomnia days, it was very nice. Next time I’d like to try some of the other desserts… we’ll see.

For now, waiting for the codeine to kick in. I get this nerve that occasionally pinches in the middle of my back, and it needs the kick to unclench enough to pick my knitting back up. Yeah yeah, I could just like… not knit for more time than it takes for the codeine to kick in, but that’s not me. *laughs* By the same token, I’ve had carpal tunnel flares several times over the years, but I’ve just sort of bulled through. Maybe that isn’t the wisest, but it’s also been so long since I’ve had a flare that I honestly cannot remember when it was.
