Sports!

The looming rain held off, and sports day happened as (re-)scheduled. Smalls has definitely improved since last year! I’m proud of her efforts, and a glad that we were able to go witness them. Z fished out the camp chair for me, so my crippled butt was able to hobble around the field behind him to follow Smalls to her various stations.

Z ended up working from home today, so that was nice. We had on Buffy, and he did his thing, and I did my thing. I like it when we have time to be in our own bubbles without the kids, even if it’s something boring like working. Having said that, it’ll be nice to have my space again tomorrow, especially with the summer holidays impending. I love the girls, but I’ll miss my space for those weeks.
