Before the Storm

I had a parcel to drop off at the Post Office today, and as usual when that occurs, I look for photo fodder. This abandoned glove amused me, as it was brutally cold with promised wet on the way. And while I didn’t see any of the snow that *might* have considered happening, it’s rained all day… this glove is probably pretty soggy and gross by now, heh. If I had thought about it, I would have put it up on the wall behind it so it didn’t get ground into the mud. Hopefully someone with better foresight has done just that. It’ll still be wet, but at least it might be free of mud.

Today has mostly been me buckling down on my knitting. I’m feeling cautiously optimistic that I am going to be able to finish this sock today, though I’ll believe it when I see it. Having said that, it’s like… ten more rows? We’ll see.
