We are currently holed up at R’s house for belated 4th of July-ish celebrations. We are also kid-free, which is bliss. The kiddos are with their grandparents, which hopefully will go as smoothly as it did last time. So that’s nice. I’ve finished the knitting of the hat, but I keep cacking up the sewing slightly. It’s not the end of the world because it’s not like it takes that long, but it’s still annoying. Today has been a day of doing very little, but doing it well. Both girls were home with me, and were awesome at entertaining both themselves as individuals, but also as a pair. Today’s knitting is… sewing. And then more sewing. I got halfway around on the first sleeve and had to rip it out because it looked horrible.
