Texas Snow

We woke up this morning to unexpected sub-freezing temps, and a rather hard frost. I’ve had Mortal Combat-based humour in my head all day as a result, and Z has been happy that he did needed gardening yesterday.

For the moment, I’m being mildly annoyed by photography. Even though I work hard to provide adequate light and a good clean setting, my photos for Etsy still come out gloomy. I know the main thing that I need to nail it down is to be able to control my shutter speed, which my phone doesn’t want to play along with. I’m probably going to treat myself to a basic DSLR, and am currently seeking opinions from friends with more experience (and being mildly annoyed and mainly charmed by one friend giving me a lot more data than I could process, ha ha).

Anyways, I should *try* to soldier on. Laters!
