Turnaround

I finish a pair of socks, and what do I do? Immediately cast on another pair, ha ha. Which is to say, I met my second goal of finishing the pair I had on the go forever before my birthday. We’ll see if I can make good progress on this pair over the weekend. I’m doing top down for a change; I figure if I alternate between top down and toe up, it’ll spice up my sock-making.

I’m pleased that today has been productive. Sock aside, I got a few chores around the house completed that I wanted to. Z had the kids help him in the kitchen, which is now slightly improved. There’s still so much that needs to be done for a proper ‘spring clean’, but I think we’re off to a good start. Hopefully. It’s hard with both of us dealing with the chronic fatigue/long covid party (but hey, we represent, har har).
