Today was the village VE Day picnic — social distancing style. I’m all sorts of snoozy from being out in the sun for a couple of hours, lemme tell you. There were less people out in our street than we’d hoped to see, but the neighbours were there as promptly as we were, and between them and visitors to the street, we had a lovely time. Bonus — Smaller got to see two of her classmates, one of them one of her favourite people! The downside of that is they’d not seen each other in ages and completely ignored social distancing. Us adults finally just kind of gave up telling them to stand apart, because they weren’t having it. *chuckles*

Right, gonna go take my dozy self and keep crocheting, maybe think about making something to eat. We had our hot meal at lunchtime so that we were more picnic-y for the afternoon event, and I’ve only just started to feel peckish.
