Cuffs and Collars

I reached the point of yass last night in my knitting; I got to the cuff at the end of the first sleeve. I’m not done with it yet, but I should be able to knock that out and get started on the next sleeve tonight (all things being equal). Having said that, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are out, and Z had our copy pre-installed and ready to play when it went live at the stroke of midnight. I’m… ambivalent is too strong a feeling, and apathetic is too weak of. I dislike that the game mechanics seem to try to force a person to do multiplayer in able to get a proper team skill-kitted out. I’ll give it a swing at though, I guess. *rimshot on copy of Shield*

Beyond that, playing with beads a bit. I ordered 11/0 beads earlier this week, and opted to order in some 8/0 beads that came in today. The former are smaller, the latter are a bit larger, and more importantly, have a large bore hole. I’ve got the makings to make some in the size range that I want to fill in a gap on, so. We’ll see. I’ve got some more jump rings coming in tomorrow, and in quantity that works better than what I have at current in the size I’m thinking about.

It’s the weekend, and that’s the main thing. Our planned visitor is ill and not able to come, which is a bit boo, but I’d rather they take care of themselves. And I did point out that they can come midweek if they’re feeling better. We’ll see.
