Cold Feet and Spreadsheets

My feet have been mega cold this week. I know, it’s colder this week and that’s going to contribute, but brr baby, brr. Even with nice woolen socks, I need my slippers to keep the edge off.

Today has mainly been Minecrafting, with Littler sitting behind me in audience. She really wants to play with me, and I keep turning her down. I think that I will, perhaps, tomorrow roll a fresh world and let her join me.  I think that if I operate on the premise that we have our own houses, or separate wings of the same house, it might work. It might not, because I would still want our resources combined in the same place. I’ll figure it out not now.

I did one adulting thing too, to my pleasure. I’ve never actually bothered to get my login for online banking sorted, so I did that. I had £200 in monies earned from surveys and the like from the last couple of months sitting in the joint account, and it made more sense for me to move it to the ‘gift monies’ account. Which is where Z’s pile of dosh for PS5 + goodies later in the year sits, as well as the girls’ remaining dregs of birthday and Christmas money. I moved that, we updated our spreadsheets, and everything is reconciled and happy. He’s also going to set up a google doc for us to operate on jointly, so there’s a better paper trail than something being mentioned in passing. So yay for that.

Right, gonna go get some more caffeine in my face, and poke at games, and maybe at a bit of knitting as well. I wanted to get another repeat of the pattern done today, but eh. Games are what my brain wants right now, so games is what it’s getting.
