Christmas Contentment

At least, the children are more or less content. They got a good haul on the whole; Nanny and Grandad got them new tablets, which made them very happy. My haul was good too — books and candy, and fluffy socks too. We gave Z some silly coasters, office supplies, Funko Pop, and a burrito blanket. With the latter, I was sad that the blanket was so thin, more like a sheet, but eh. It’s still an amusing gift.

Also amusing gift-wise? We gave Z’s dad an Amazon Echo Dot. Not gonna lie, it’s going to be a bit of a learning experience for him and Mum, but they were both giving it a go. Still, I’m an ass and was amused at him speaking to it so slowly that it cut him off, and him using so many words in a query that Alexa… well, couldn’t understand him and cut him off again. But ah well. They’ll figure it out, and probably have a bit of fun too.

Now it’s time go tuck sleepyheads in, so hi, bye, etc.
