The Path Less Travelled

Okay, not really; it’s someone’s front path. But it’s so very Alice in Wonderland-esque that I admire it every time I walk past it. Since life took me past it today, I figured that I’d share it this time.

And why did it take me past? I had to do a school run, but for the opposite of last week. Which is to say, D is being sprung from hospital; Z and Mum are fetching him. I don’t think we’ll get to see him tonight since it’s my night out, but at least Z and I were able to sit down and work out a plan that enabled us to work within the confines of the time before I’m supposed to head out. If I’m a bit late, I’m a bit late. E is walking around here after work, so at least she wouldn’t be left on the kerb.

Oh good, Z reports that he’s dropping D off right now. I’mma celebrate with the birthday samosas brought home from work, hee hee.
