Reinforcement

I’ve not gotten as far on attaching buttons to the little cardigan as I wanted to, but that’s in part because I decided to go back and add extra reinforcement to the snaps. It’s probably just a little paranoid on my part, but as I said yesterday — since it’s going outside of my immediate family, I want to make sure that everything is extra awesome. If that means taking forever and a day getting the snaps and buttons just so, then so be it.

Of course, I’m also distracted by Pokémon. I decided that I was going to try to get all the Unown for once, and I did! I think that doing it in Gold/Silver would have been a nightmare, but it wasn’t so bad in Pearl. I don’t know whether it was just me having some RNG luck or what, but there you go. It’s done for whatever reason, and that’s that.

I am so freaking late in writing this that it’s legit bedtime now. I got distracted by kiddos and television. The BBC had a continuation of Goodnight Sweetheart on, and a prequel to Keeping Up Appearances called Young Hyacinth. Z and I agreed that the first was spot-on, while we differ slightly on the second. He likes it, and I don’t dislike it per se, but I think I need to give it another watch-through to process it. I think that, were they continue it, it would decide me better, but I don’t know if it’s just a one-off.
