Cut!

We really like our neighbours, next door in the other half of our terrace (or duplex, for y’all American sorts). I extra love that we can help each other out, and that when Smalls needs a haircut, that a haircut can be provided asap. S was thrilled ’cause she hasn’t been able to cut hair due to furlough, and this was a proper haircut rather than ‘just a trim’. Smalls now has a proper short cut, and is thrilled. Z and Smaller also got trims, and are happier for them as well. I just enjoyed getting to chat with someone not in our immediate bubble, ha ha. And S is right — we’re pretty much the same household with being a two-house terrace. I mean, we don’t act like we’re the same household or anything, but just in general the whole we really like each other thing.

Past that, just been kicking back. I got my nails painted after meaning to do it all week. I’ve made some forward and backwards progression on my cross-stitch; I’d done a section a stitch off, and felt that I had to rip it out and redo it. But that’s sorted and back to moving forward, so yay, etc.
