A Man, A Plan, No Flan

img_20161120_192920918Z woke up today with a hit list of chores that he wanted to get done. I can’t say that they all got done, but we did manage some forward progress. I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to in the realm of assistance, but I *did* defunk the vacuum (my hair tends to clog it quickly and seriously), pick up the bulk of the small bits remaining around the lounge, and got the vacuum run around in here, the study, and the hallway/foyer. He did some scrubbing of the kitchen floor, which looks a fair bit better around the rug (which still needs vacuuming/cleaning). But hey! Improvement of any stripe! Which might last a few hour before the kids wreck it ’cause one is in bed and one is slowing down! *chuckles ruefully*

Past that, I’ve continued on with Stardew Valley. I’m most of the way through my second year, and my farm includes a regular coop and big barn (soon to be an enlarged coop). I’ve repaired the bus, I’ve repaired the bridge, and I’m cheerfully chipping away at the other bundles. I’m also nearing completion of jacking up my friendship towards romance with Elliott; they say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and I’ve been putting that into practice, ha ha. For the moment, I’m trying to grind up my fishing skill because it’s not quite maxed out. At least, that’s what I’m doing ‘today’ in the game. No idea what I’m going to do tomorrow. That’s what’s fun about this game — you can pretty much do whatever you want (within reason) and aren’t necessarily stuck with farming alone. 😀

Anyways. Back to that and knitting. The first snood is almost done, so hooray for that.
