Magnificent

One of the kittenish things that Batman retains is an urge to writhe around in the bathrub. He purrs so loudly that a good echo springs up, and well. I’m sure I’ve shown pictures of him in the tub before, but this is the internet. Being the internet, it requires infinite cat pictures, so I solemnly do my duty and share them once in awhile. 😀

Not really done super much today. I snapped my favoured drill bit last night, so have to wait until tomorrow for new ones to arrive. I hope I ordered the right size; it’s hard to measure up something that’s less than 2 millimetres, so there was a small degree of guesswork. I did finally sit down and finish off Over the Woodward Wall, which… it’s not bad, but I don’t think it’s one of Seanan McGuire’s strongest efforts either. I couldn’t tell you what was missing, just… something wasn’t there. Maybe I’ll find it on a future re-read, as I’m sure to re-read it at some point. And, let’s be fair — it’s not fair for it to have shown up in the middle of my Malazan Book of the Fallen re-read, ’cause that’s some heavy dense stuff, and it’s gonna make everything else look like a wisp of air by comparison.

Right, gonna go knit, game, and zone out.
