I really like my new phone. I really like the camera on my new phone. Is good! The colours are brighter, the images are sharper… all to be expected, considering that it’s way camera’d up as compared to my old phone. Considering Oldphone was a new midranger in 2017, nooot a surprise that things have come on. Still.

Today has been alright. I didn’t get a lot of work done, but I’m not bothered either. It’s the last day of summer hols for the girls, so I felt that I could afford being distracted. We also clocked out a smidge early ’cause Smaller’s bestie came over for a playdate. She came with her dad this time, and good times were had by all. My only boo note was right at the end, when bestie started to come my way for a hug before realising that she wasn’t supposed to and having a wee sad herself. I know my arms twitched upward in response, ’cause I love that my kids’ friends want hugs from me. I mean, I’m squishy and huggable, so why wouldn’t they? Plus yanno, I like them and want to demonstrate that within their own personal comfort bounds, etc.

Anyways, it was nice. Kids aside, it’s always nice when Z and I can share our introvert goodies with other folx. I gave bestie’s dad an extra Steam code I had for Civ VI, and I know Z was going to shoot him an email with a list of his extra Steam codes as well. I also showed him Civilization II: The Test of Time and why it’s one of my faves, so maybe he’ll check that out. At least I put it out there as a consideration.
