Adult Toys

Z and I were talking vacuums yesterday or the day before… and whelp, we have a new vacuum in today. *laughs* I was bemused at how cavalier he was about spending the £££ on it, having already forgotten that we had agreed we were going to spend money that would’ve been spent on/during holiday this year on goodies for the house. So now we have a cordless vacuum with anti-tangle technology (needed with my long shedding self), and we also have a new kettle coming in tomorrow. The kettle isn’t particularly bells and whistles, but we’re well overdue for a new one, and it’s nice enough.

((and in the interim, anyone in the market for a used, but still perfectly functional upright corded Dyson? xD))

Past that, did the work thing, did the existing thing. I had year end accounts to process today, and I got through about half of the list. I threw one at the wall on my way out in the hopes someone else’ll look at it and spare me dealing with it, but we’ll see. *laughs* I told Z the figure it was out by, and we agree that it’s some sort of a number. Which is vague as heck here, but like y’all want to hear the specifics of my job.

Right, gonna go digest dinner, game, knit, etc. I’m about to pick up the gusset stitches for sock #2, so good progress is being made.
