Happy Feet

The socks, they are done. Now to find another pattern and do another pair of socks, ha ha. someone local has asked if our group can make them some purple poppies, so I might do a few of those while I mull over what to do next. It’s kind of scary to have all the little side quests that have cropped up in recent months done and to have the freedom to do the socks I wanna do, ha ha.

What else… I bought a lot of nail polish from a-england last night with my Christmas-birthday money, so that’s exciting. I had accidentally ordered a shade I already had, and Adina was a total dear about letting me swap it out for something else. I was almost cheeky and asked if she had a bottle of an out of stock colour laying about to swap with, but I don’t want to be ‘that guy’. As it were, I can buy the shade I really want that’s out of stock from one of the UK stockists, but I’m mulling on that before I dive in, ’cause full price. My order last night had me getting my bottles for less than half price by buying smart, so paying the full £11 sounds less appealing, even if the colour makes me go grabbyhands.
