In Sight

So yes, today happened. Went into the office for the day with Z, which was pleasant enough. Made it down to Specsavers for our appointments, which went as we thought it would; I need new glasses, while Z doesn’t. I felt like it took a million years to find frames that I liked, since nothing was quite the right size/dimensions, but. We managed to eventually find something satisfactory. They’re closer in colour to Small’s current pair, so she expects people will find us even twinnier than usual. I still don’t see it to the degree that the rest of the world sees it, but eh. Nice to know she’s obviously a relative of mine?

Beyond that, I’m just tired. I’ll have to repeat this next Monday to pick up the glasses when they are done, so I’m going to have to think about where I apply my day off this week. I might save it for Friday because then it’s a three-day weekend, but I also have to remember that I have a pre-op assessment appointment this week, so that eats into working hours even more. I’ll figure it out later. For now, I’m out.
