I realised earlier today that I’ve been chewing on my lip. I’m not sure why I have, but like all those ‘bad’ habits, I guess I’ll have to try and pay attention and break myself of it. Again. At least it’s not as bad as when I gnawed a ridge into my cheek, or the callous that existed on my index finger for the better part of a decade.
I had a chuckle this morning when Ja messaged me to confirm that we were still on for Thursday. The long and the short is that she’d put it on the calendar for the wrong day, which is fine! I gave her a big hug when I saw her on the school run and assured her that it was no problem. And honestly, I can’t help but love another scatterbrain, ha ha. She may or may not tag along on Wednesday as well, but she knows she doesn’t have to let me know until I’m in the car leaving, ’cause laid back about this. I hope that she’s feeling up to it though — one of the best things about a (mainly) awesome knitting group is new people coming and enriching the social scene.
As for day off knitting — as you can see, I’ve finished the first little mouse. I’ve even, le gasp, started in on the next one. I don’t know that I’m going to make it through all three of them before getting bored enough to start in on my next pair of socks. We’ll see. Socks will also be easier to do at knitting, so.
Right, we have birthday presents for Littler to wrap up before watching American Gods, so I’m off to do that.
