Crouching Toddler, Hidden Kitten

You miiiiight be able to make it out past the heaps of stuff, but you can just about make out Poison on the window ledge. I thought I managed a better picture of her hiding out over there, but apparently I was wrong. I don’t know why I found this to be super cute, but I really, really, *REALLY* did. I guess it’s also pleasing because it’s probably a sign that she’s feeling well enough to risk shaking up her tiny little old lady bladder to get somewhere slightly higher than her usual haunts. Plus yanno, cats! Assorted ledge tat! Excitement!

Happiness is!

(She’s excited, at least. <__<)

I’m in that annoying gap where I don’t know what I want to read before Christmas. I don’t want to start a series again, as Christmas means a load of new books. I might grudging read more of the Shannara novels. I re-read the original trilogy earlier in the year and liked it a bit better than I remembered. I sort of zoned out on keeping up with it as it got more and more sci-fi-y; I think that Anthrax was that last one I read/bought. I like sci-fi things a hell of a lot more now than I did back in the early 2000s, so it might well be just the right thing. After all, I *did* finally willingly read The Andromeda Strain and like it alright (though the ending was more than a bit of a damp squib ¬¬).

Anyways, back to getting more Pokémonning on. While I roll my eyes at Team Skull as being the most annoying Team ever, I’m liking the story on this one just fine. Yeah okay, it’s the same old same old catch them all at the core, but what can I say. It appeals to the ‘oooh, shiny!’ Diamond in me.
